World Blockchain Foundation exists to help society understand, govern and apply blockchain technology in ways that create meaningful and lasting value.

Our origin

Established in 2016 with a public-interest mandate.

WBF was established in Malaysia as a legal entity registered under the Societies Act 1966. From the beginning, its mission has been to support and coordinate the blockchain community through education, awareness and collaboration for enthusiasts, developers, regulators, technologists, practitioners and users globally.
